Jaclyn Kendall is a Washington State native and graduated from Eastern Washington University with B.S. in Communication Studies and Minor in Journalism in 2005. Jaclyn moved to San Diego in 2017, and that same year began her lifelong dream of working in the legal field. Jaclyn obtained a position as a courier at a San Diego family law firm and simultaneously enrolled in the paralegal program at the University of San Diego. Jaclyn received her Paralegal Certificate from USD in 2018. Jaclyn has continuously worked in family law since 2017 but has also worked as a contract paralegal in both civil and criminal defense law firms.

In June of 2020, while working full-time as a Paralegal and caring for her two amazing children, Jaclyn enrolled in law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2023.  Both during law school and since graduating, Jaclyn has become a Certified Law Student with the California State Bar, allowing her to practice under the supervision of her supervising attorneys.

As a former military spouse and as a single mom, Jaclyn understands first-hand many of the challenges of separating from a spouse, co-parenting, requesting adequate financial support, and advocating for the best interests of the children. Jaclyn’s personal experience with divorce has equipped her with the necessary ability and compassion to advocate for our clients while keeping the big picture goals front-of-mind.

In her spare time, Jaclyn enjoys camping, boating, attending live sporting events, caring for her two dogs and one cat-dog, and teaching her children the valuable lesson of losing gracefully at card and board games.
