Hi Michael, how are you doing today? Doing well dear, thank you very much for asking. Bonnie, this is a time of the year when we begin to read about and hear about more domestic violence. Whether it’s Super Bowl or Valentine’s Day or other holidays coming, more and more people are being tightened and angry and quite extreme in the way they react.

Let’s talk a little bit about how Primus Family Law deals with cases of domestic violence. You know, Michael, we’re all very, very knowledgeable and compassionate on this subject. In one way, shape or form, it’s kind of touched each of us at Primus.

And so we take it very seriously. We’re not a firm that’s gonna file like a frivolous domestic violence restraining order, something that’s gonna end up just for a custody issue. We wanna represent those people who really need our help or who are the recipient of those frivolous motions that need help to get out from under.

Because as you know, having a restraining order against you, it can affect the rest of your life, jobs, employability, and all of that. But if somebody is really in need of help to get one, first thing we always say is, if you’re right in the middle of it or it’s just happened, call the police, make sure you get some help and get out. Your next call should be to an attorney or a law firm that you can trust.
